Isle Royale and the Sleeping Giant

Combine sailing to Isle Royale - one of Lake Superior’s premier offshore islands, with exploring some of the wild anchorages of the Canadian north shore, including a night anchored under the massive cliffs of the Sleeping Giant Provincial Park and you have the makings of an unforgettable sailing expedition!

Our intended route will be to spend several days exploring the north side of Isle Royale then cross to the Canadian shore, north of Thunder Bay and begin working our way back, exploring stunningly beautiful and remote anchorages along way including the Sleeping Giant Provincial Park. This is a sail training expedition so participants will be asked to take part in all aspects of the trip including standing watch, navigation, sail handling, and day to day chores such as cooking.
